Last Saturday night, The Velvet Hour opened its doors for the first time. And what a night it was. Jasmine Cole headlined with a set that moved seamlessly between smoky jazz standards and stand-up that had the entire room in stitches. Ricky Fontaine warmed up the crowd with his effortless Sinatra-meets-Seinfeld style, and Carlos Vega brought a bilingual energy that had even the quietest tables howling. Dee Williams hosted the evening with her signature warmth, keeping the energy high between acts and making every guest feel like they'd been coming here for years. Our bar team debuted three new signature cocktails — The Velvet Curtain (bourbon, honey, lavender), The Opening Act (mezcal, blood orange, chili rim), and The Encore (champagne, elderflower, gold leaf). All three sold out before the headliner took the stage. To everyone who came out, bought tickets, shared the moment, and stayed until the lights came up — thank you. This is just the beginning.
